Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an RN for a facility-based crisis unit in Georgia. The role provides oversight and general nursing care to individuals in a non-hospital detox setting, with patients performing their own ADLs and no restraints.

The position is daytime, full-time, with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, crisis response, medication monitoring, and QA participation.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN licensure required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred; behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screening: criminal background check, drug testing, education verification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment and respond to crises in a timely manner.
• Maintain Controlled Substances policy compliance, accurate inventories, logs, and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor patients and manage side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Complete QA activities and participate in the QA process.
• Communicate effectively with the team.

This role provides oversight and general nursing care and services to persons in a facility-based crisis/non-hospital detox setting. All patients are voluntary and perform their own ADLs. No physical or chemical restraints. Average length of stay: 5-7 days.

• Monitor consumers and take appropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Complete QA activities and participate in the QA process.
• Communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience; experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Some college training and/or management experience helpful.
• Valid driver’s license (personal vehicle insurance coverage required for transportation duties).
• Proficiency in company-sponsored training, certifications, and privileging if required.
• Must pass pre‑employment screening: criminal background check, drug testing, education verification.
