Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to join our facility-based crisis team on the night shift. You will assess and monitor clients, participate in behavioral health treatment, and respond to crises with timely actions.

This position requires an ADN, potential 1 year nursing experience, and valid driver’s license. We offer a competitive hourly rate with night/weekend differentials, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, Payactiv access, PTO, health insurance, a 401(k), wellness

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Meet the education, experience, licensure requirements specified by the service definition.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with personal vehicle insurance coverage (condition of employment if required for transportation).
• Maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications and privileging, if required.
• Complete pre-employment screening, including criminal background check, drug testing, education verification, and other credentialing as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize your skills and expertise, current nursing assessment skills and knowledge of nursing principles to assess and monitor clients.
• Participate in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment and respond to crises on a timely basis.
• Comply with Controlled Substances policy and procedures, maintain accurate inventories and controlled logs, and follow appropriate guidelines for investigating discrepancies.
• Monitor consumers and take appropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Complete QA activities as requested and participate in the QA process.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
