Job summary

Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Evening shift. You will provide direct patient care in a post-acute setting, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to support recovery and well-being.

The role requires MD RN license and CPR/BLS certification, with preference for LTC or post-acute rehab experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or post-acute rehabilitation preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care in a post-acute setting.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team Full-Time on the Evening Shift with no weekend requirements. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, conduct clinical assessments, and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced, dynamic post-acute setting.

• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments, identifying physical, emotional, and social needs.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, therapists, and the broader interdisciplinary care team.

• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care standards.

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date patient electronic medical records.

Shift Differential & Compensation

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

• Weekday Evening Shift Differential: +$2.00 / hour

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute rehabilitation is preferred, but passionate new grads are encouraged to apply!
