Job Description

Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs. Promote adaptive responses, safety, and patient satisfaction. Exhibit compassionate care. Coordinate patient care and staff interactions. Ensure the provision of high-quality patient and family experiences.

• Complete assessments per scope of practice and standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and coordinate care plans including education and discharge planning.
• Provide direct care, treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to unit goals and quality safety initiatives.
• Participate in safety and quality programs.

Work Environment & Schedule

Typically performed in a clinical setting. Complies with policies and procedures. Specific competencies will be outlined in department-specific orientation.

Position Details

• .9 FTE, three 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays, rotating annually

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (required)
• Licensed RN in Pennsylvania and BLS certification
