Job summary

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement seeks an RN to educate Home Health Aides and serve as a nurse instructor for a Licensed Home Care Services Agency in Nassau County, NY. The Educator will oversee orientation and ongoing certification programs for frontline staff, ensuring adherence to care standards and documentation practices.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS RN license and a nursing degree, with at least two years of Home Health RN experience and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS RN license.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.
• Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of Home Health RN experience.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Ability to commute to Nassau County office daily.
• Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• RN will conduct orientation and ongoing education/ Certification for Home Health Aides hired for the LHCSA.
• Education may include the overall processes related to Care, aspects of care in the home setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, HHA Certification and topics commonly seen in the Home Health setting.
