Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Admission Testing team at St. Joseph's Hospital - South in Riverview, FL. This PRN pool role focuses on delivering safe patient care and coordinating pre-admission assessments.

You will work with a compassionate team, support staff, and use the nursing process to ensure smooth pre-admission testing workflows. Relevant RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS may be department-specific.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required.
• RN license is required.
• ACLS Certification may be required by department.
• Nurse specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Maintain professional accountability and development per national standards.

Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse Department Pool (PRN/Pool) - Pre-Admission Testing

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-Admission Testingteam at St. Joseph's Hospital - South.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Certifications and Licensures:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in pre-admission testing is preferred.
