BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Pre-Admission Testing team at St. Joseph's Hospital. This full-time role supports patient prep and uses nursing processes to ensure safety and quality.

The RN will assess, plan, and coordinate care, mentor staff as needed, and participate in continuing education. Qualifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS as required, and 2 years RN experience with pre-admission testing preference.

Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse - Pre-Admission Testing

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-Admission Testingteam at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification, if required by department
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in pre-admission testing is preferred.
