Job summary

Carriage Square Rehab and Healthcare Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri is seeking a compassionate RN to join our day shift. You will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, administer medications and therapies, and support the clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting patient responses, and collaborating with staff to plan and evaluate care plans. A background check and TB test may be required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license required (registered nurse)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, treatments, and therapies
• Observe and report vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the care team
• Document observations on patient charts
• Collaborate with team to plan, implement and evaluate care and activities

RN Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Registered Nurse to join our day shift team at Carriage Square Rehab and Healthcare Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri. As a valued member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
• Records on patient charts observations of patient's responses to nursing care rendered
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
• Assists with unit management and/or assumes charge of unit as assigned

Requirements:

• Current Missouri state RN license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
