Licensure as an Alabama RN is required, with BLS and ACLS credentials obtained within specified hire windows. Various shift options and a mission-driven team environment are available.

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham has 17 beds and provides specialized care to critically ill patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic, vascular, and cardiac procedures. Our fast-paced critical care unit offers opportunities for growth through collaboration with other members of the care team, continuing education, and leadership development.
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
