Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL is seeking an RN for a Full Time Weekend Program. The nurse will perform standard bedside care, collaborate with the health care team, and ensure adherence to hospital standards on the unit during 7a–7p shifts.

Unrestricted AL or multi-state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. Weekend shifts include an extra $6/hour for working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday–Monday.

Qualifications

• RN license required: Unrestricted AL or multi-state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Weekend Program: 7a–7p shifts with an additional $6/hour for working weekends (Fri–Sun or Sat–Mon).
• Full-time weekend-facing RN role; prior weekend experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for the assigned patients on the unit during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice, which includes managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and for the promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team.
