Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for a 7a-7p weekend program. RNs must hold an unrestricted AL or multi-state license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Weekend program offers an additional $6/hour for working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. ED RN experience is preferred for this shift pattern.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on the unit, supervise staff, and coordinate with the health care team to uphold standards of practice.

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for the assigned patients on the unit during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice, which includes managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and for the promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team.
