Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse for a 7am-3pm shift at our West Hartford location. You will oversee nursing care to residents, implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license.
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care.
• Ability to supervise LPNs and CNAs in daily care.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical data.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

What You'll DoAs a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
