Job summary

Complete Care at La Plata is seeking an RN Registered Nurse to provide direct care to residents in a hospital-to-home transition setting. You will administer medications, perform treatments, assess and monitor health status, and participate in care planning while collaborating with physicians, therapists, social workers and families.

We offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus for FT positions, shift diff of +$3/hr on 2nd/3rd weekdays and +$4/hr on weekends, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as an RN Registered Nurse.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Professionally & Clinically Skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: oral, topical, IV, injectable medications.
• Treatments: wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings.
• Assessment & Monitoring: health assessments, track changes & analyze data.
• Care Planning: create, update & execute individualized care.
• Collaboration: strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others.
• Family & Resident Education: explain health status and care expectations.
• Documentation: keep a detailed record of health status and progress.
• Team Oversight: oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs.
