Job summary

Complete Care at La Plata is hiring an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse for direct care in Maryland. We offer premium pay, a $6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles, and differential pay of $2/hr on 2nd/3rd shifts weekdays and $3/hr on weekends.

Full and part-time options and PRN with experience are available. You will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor health status, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and families to execute individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Maryland as an LPN.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and provide professional references.
• Professional and clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV or injectable as prescribed.
• Perform wound care, manage pain, and apply dressings.
• Monitor health status and analyze data for changes.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and collect specimens.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed records of health status and care provided.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to CNAs to ensure quality care.
