Job summary

Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse to ensure safety and health needs of adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. The role supports a multidisciplinary team in Minneapolis, MN, with a Nurse Leader DON guiding care.

Schedule includes casual hours and a flexible plan with 3 shifts per month, including 1 weekend, at $47/hour. The organization emphasizes mission-driven care and a comprehensive benefits package for staff and their families.

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license or by start date.
• BLS certification required within three weeks of hire.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professionals.

• Proof of BLS obtained within three weeks of hire before independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan.
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• RN - Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed.
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided.

Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
