Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool, delivering bedside care across multiple hospitals in the St. Louis region.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, reporting to facilities within Mercy's footprint. The role offers night shifts in a part-time capacity with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a strong benefits package including day-one health insurance, tuition assistance, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Preferred Education: BSN.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• One year of recent bedside RN experience to work Med Surg.
• For all other specialties (ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS for Med Surg and Behavioral Health; BLS & NRP for Women's Health.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Report to facilities within Mercy's regional footprint and work across multiple hospitals.
• Provide care in a dynamic float pool environment across Med/Surg, Tele, SD, ICU units.
