Job summary

Mercy is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its Regional Float Pool in the St. Louis area.

You will provide bedside nursing across multiple Mercy hospitals, primarily during nights, with opportunities to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU units as needed. Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduation and RN licensure; 1 year Med/Surg bedside experience (2+ years for ICU).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN licensure in applicable state.
• One year of bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for ICU/other specialties.
• BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS; Women’s Health BLS & NRP.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float across multiple Mercy facilities within the regional footprint.
• Adhere to nursing practice standards and collaborate with diverse care teams.
