Job summary

The Mayo Clinic RN in the Radiology Pre/Post unit provides nursing assessments and post-procedure recovery care for patients from infant to geriatric. The role supports a multidisciplinary team including physicians, technologists and nurses in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Candidates should have RN licensure, BLS, and strong communication and critical thinking skills; BSN preferred and experience in ICU/PCU/PACU or sedation is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of professional RN experience required.
• BSN preferred; ICU/PCU/PACU or sedation experience a plus.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and patient/family education.
• Coordinate care across physicians, technologists, and nurses.
• Monitor and recover patients post-procedure in radiology.
