Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse for Radiology Pre/Post to perform comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and post-procedure recovery across diverse patient populations. The role collaborates with physicians, technologists, and nurses in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.

The RN will ensure safe patient transitions, participate in ongoing education, and may engage in opportunities through the Nurse Residency program.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in applicable state
• 1 year of professional RN experience required
• BSN preferred or encouraged
• Experience or familiarity with radiology prep/post care is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends and on-call

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments for patients across age groups in radiology pre/post areas
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, and nurses
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, recovery, and post-care
• Lead or participate in quality improvement and committee activities as assigned
