Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology Pre/Post to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

The role involves caring for patients from infant to geriatric populations, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting post-procedure recovery. Current RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS are preferred and may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS must be valid for 90 days post start date; ACLS/PALS preferred. ACLS required in future.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments for patients ranging from infant to geriatric in diagnostic imaging and post-procedure recovery.
• Care for patients receiving diagnostic imaging scans and complex radiologic procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, nurses and others.
• Coordinate care, education, and transitions of care; lead or participate in quality improvement efforts.
