Job summary

MultiCare is seeking a Quality Program Manager-RN to develop and implement the Quality and Performance Improvement Program for the assigned services and location. This role ensures patient safety, regulatory readiness and adherence to care standards across the setting(s) of care.

Lead data-driven quality initiatives, collaborate with departments, and utilize Epic chart reviews and QM tools to drive performance improvement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; RN with 15+ years may be considered in lieu of education.
• Advanced Degree in Nursing preferred (MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP).
• Relevant certification in the specialty area preferred.
• Minimum five years in healthcare or related setting in a clinical specialty/service line.
• Minimum three years in quality, regulatory readiness, performance improvement or patient safety.
• Competent in at least one quality domain (Pt Safety, Peer/Physician Quality, Clinical Analytics, etc.).
• Internal candidates’ experience may be considered in lieu of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities related to the Quality Program and ensures initiatives are completed on time.
• Develops components of QAPI and other regulatory requirements.
• Conducts analysis using common methods and statistics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Creates quality analyses using Pareto charts, driver diagrams, and data visualizations.
• Develops routine and ad hoc reporting to assess PI outcomes with QM tools.
• Oversees PI, analysis and reporting, and recommends actions to departments.
