St. David’s Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, is seeking a Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator to influence patient care through collaborative relationships and hospital councils.

You will coordinate quality initiatives and ensure adherence to evidence-based standards in a high-operational setting. You will partner with physicians and staff to drive ongoing performance improvement, analyze outcomes, and lead interdisciplinary teams to implement standardized clinical processes

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of three years relevant acute clinical experience (Med/Surg, Neuro, ICU or ED).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Graduate of accredited nursing school with Nursing Diploma, associate’s degree or higher level education.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas; Texas license within 90 days if on Compact.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate quality initiatives and clinical performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and evidence-based standards.
• Evaluate hospital performance against Core Measures, Stroke, STS, and CathPCI.
• Perform daily concurrent reviews and retrospective reviews as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to achieve compliance.
• Utilize quality improvement methodologies to facilitate initiatives.
• Organize interdisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource on evidence-based measures.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and leaders to implement standardized processes/protocols.
• Analyze complications, mortalities, and investigate quality-of-care issues.
• Conduct special studies and reviews per medical staff/admin requests.
