Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking an experienced RN to lead Quality Improvement initiatives, monitor NCQA and accreditation readiness, and support HEDIS reporting. The role requires critical thinking, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with quality teams.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in MD or DC and have BSN preferred, with CPHQ certification strongly desired. Join a team focused on patient care quality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare field (BSN) preferred.
  • 3-4 years healthcare experience required.
  • CPHQ Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in development and completion of annual QI Plans and QI Appraisals.
  • Attends monthly Quality Improvement staff meetings and contributes content.
  • Maintains meeting minutes and attends QI Committee meetings.
  • Supports newsletters and website content for MFC.
  • Ensures compliance with NCQA, regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Leads/evaluates HEDIS activities and audits as needed.
  • Develops corrective action plans and monitors performance measures.
