Job Summary

Coordinates the development and implementation of organization-wide quality improvement activities. Collaborates with Home Health leadership, staff, and information systems to achieve organizational goals. Assists in coordinating studies within the Quality Assurance program and prepares reports as required.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Experience in Home Health: Required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

Essential Functions:

• Prepares analytical and statistical reports; maintains information systems; reports results to leadership. Assists with maintaining the quality assurance program and identifies opportunities to improve patient care.
• Conducts chart audits and data extraction; assists in planning and directing QA programs; maintains a calendar of review activities. Ensures reviews meet all data requirements for regulatory bodies.
• Performs initial screening and analysis of reported events; conducts data abstraction; facilitates Medical Staff case reviews.
• Monitors compliance with standards and regulations; recommends adjustments; helps implement corrective plans.
• Identifies peer review cases; collaborates on program evaluation; assists in program improvements to ensure compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
