Job summary

Roman Eagle Memorial Home seeks an experienced RN to lead quality improvement, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and resident safety initiatives across the facility. The role collaborates with nursing leadership, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor quality measures and promote positive resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an organized RN with long-term care experience and prior administrative/supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing in a long-term care setting.
• Administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• Infection Preventionist (IP) certification or plan to obtain within designated timeframe after hire.
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and resident care standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the facility's QAPI program and annual facility assessment.
• Oversee the Antibiotic Stewardship Program and infection prevention activities.
• Monitor resident safety, incidents, and risk management; communicate findings to leadership.
• Support medical records, PDPM documentation, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Services leadership on quality initiatives.
