Job summary

Excelcare at Egg Harbor in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Infection Preventionist to lead the facility's infection prevention program. You will monitor, investigate, and prevent infections, and work with clinical leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and resident safety.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, IP certification (or willingness to obtain), and at least 3 years of management experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey required.
• Infection Prevention (IP) certification required or willing to obtain.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in long-term care.
• Experience with audits, regulatory compliance, and resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the facility infection prevention program.
• Monitor, investigate, and prevent infections among residents and staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement evidence-based practices.
• Provide staff education and support for infection control.
• Review incidents and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
