Job summary

Roman Eagle Memorial Home, a Danville, VA not-for-profit, seeks an RN Quality Assessment & Assurance Coordinator to lead QA programs, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance across the facility. You will work with nursing leadership and pharmacy to improve resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a clinically strong RN with LTC experience and IP certification or plan to obtain it after hire. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in a long-term care facility.
• Administrative experience in healthcare setting is a plus.
• IP certification or certification within designated timeframe after hire.
• Strong understanding of LTC regs, QA, and resident care standards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QAPI program and annual facility assessment.
• Analyze quality metrics and report improvements.
• Support antibiotic stewardship and infection prevention efforts.
• Track resident safety incidents and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate safety meetings and promote regulatory compliance.
• Support PDPM documentation and medical records processes.
• Assist surveys, audits, and inspections; act as a QA resource.
