Alluvion Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our psychiatry team in Great Falls, MT. This outpatient role collaborates with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support patients receiving psychiatric and behavioral health care.

The RN will assist with intake, assessments, medication management, education, and care coordination, focusing on a Tuesday–Friday schedule and integrated care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or ability to obtain licensure prior to hire.
• Previous nursing experience with psychiatric, mental health, or behavioral health conditions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, & compassionate with behavioral health patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient intake, assessments, medication reconciliation, screenings, and clinical documentation.
• Assess patients and communicate changes in psychiatric symptoms or treatment to the provider.
• Support psychiatric medication management, including refills, prior authorizations, education, and follow-up.
• Monitor and communicate medication effectiveness, side effects, and adherence concerns.
• Administer medications, injections, treatments, and testing per clinician orders.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate care with the Psychiatric NP, behavioral health teams, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
