Job summary

Southwest Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide nursing services to members in an outpatient psychiatric setting. You will engage, assess, triage, administer medications, educate patients, and advocate for physical health while collaborating with a care team.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, with at least 1 year in psychiatric/behavioral health or 2 years in acute care. Arizona RN license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Current R.N. license issued by Arizona Board of Nursing
• Minimum one year psychiatric/behavioral health experience with SMI adults or two years in acute care (ER/ICU/Med-Surg).
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications (offered through Southwest Network)
• Valid Arizona driver's license and car insurance
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to maintain excellent member and family relationships and customer service
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organization, critical thinking, time management and problem solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing services to members in outpatient psychiatric setting, including engagement, assessment and triage.
• Administers medications and provides health education and advocacy for physical health.
• Collaborates with a care team and participates in utilization management and quality improvement.
