Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Unit Manager to lead a 140-bed inpatient unit serving adolescents and adults. You will provide hands-on support addressing physical, social, and behavioral patient needs in a mission-focused environment.

Emphasizing compassionate care, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with standards, and promote SPIRIT values across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in Kentucky or eligible to receive or renew.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5–65+.
• Responsible for the overall functioning of the patient care unit.
• Assigns appropriate numbers and mix of staff as guided by the staffing plan based on census and patient acuity.
• Directs and supervises staff in all clinical and administrative matters, ensuring accreditation standards, practice standards, and policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Demonstrate the SPIRIT values in their words, actions, & behaviors at all times. Safety, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Inspiration, & Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall functioning of the patient care unit.
• Assign staffing based on census and patient acuity.
