Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care team in Kentucky. You will deliver compassionate nursing care to patients across age groups in a psychiatric inpatient setting, following standard nursing practices and physician orders.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other professionals to address physical, social, and behavioral needs, while administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Desire to work in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients of various ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the treatment milieu according to standards of nursing practice.
• Assist in patient nursing care to meet spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies and procedures.

Education

Current KY nursing license (or eligible to obtain/renew)

CPR or BLS certification

Desire to work in psychiatric inpatient setting with patients of various ages
