Job summary
Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital delivering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military and first responders. The RN will provide compassionate, hands-on care addressing physical, social, and behavioral needs within a multidisciplinary team.
The role requires Kentucky nursing licensure (or eligibility), CPR/BLS certification, and a commitment to psychiatric inpatient care across age groups. Inpatient shifts include 24-hour nurse coverage in a hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Desire to work in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients of various ages.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to patients across child to geriatric, per Standards of Nursing Practice and Care.
- Assist in patient care to meet spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established nursing policies and procedures.
