Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a clinical team in a 140-bed inpatient setting serving adolescents to adults and first responders. You will oversee daily patient care, coordinate staffing, and ensure compliance with standards while supporting patients’ physical, social, and behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65+.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall functioning of the patient care unit.
• Direct and supervise staff in all clinical and administrative matters, ensuring accreditation and practice standards are followed.
• Assign appropriate numbers and mix of staff based on census and patient acuity.
• Demonstrate SPIRIT values in words, actions, and behavior at all times: Safety, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Inspiration, and Teamwork.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on support addressing the physical, social, and behavioral needs of each patient.
