Medasource is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn and Reconstructive unit in San Antonio, TX. The role supports PCU status patients in a 9 South BRCU setting with a staffing model that includes day and night shifts.

Required BLS certification. Dress code is Navy Blue scrubs; unit policies and guidelines apply. Weekend rotation is every other weekend with no on-call obligation.

Qualifications

• Mandatory BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care or PCU/Med Surg preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced unit.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care on a Burn and Reconstructive unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Perform dressing changes and basic wound care.
• Collaborate with RN staff, physicians, and care teams to plan patient outcomes.

Skill Set Most recruited for:

We are a Burn and Reconstructive unit, but our CL will take care of our off-service patients in PCU status. These include stroke and cardiac patients.

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
