AdventHealth in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a full-time night-shift RN to deliver comprehensive care in a high-acuity environment. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and monitor responses, while educating families and coordinating with the care team.

Requirements include Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN license, strong critical care skills, and EMR proficiency (Cerner/EPIC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to life‑threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
