AdventHealth in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver high-quality patient care. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families, while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires an RN license, an Associate's degree in nursing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• RN license is required and must be current in the state.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows-based programs.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and communication.
• Document patient information, care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance in the unit.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the healthcare team to maintain quality.
• Participate in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients as needed.
