Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit Neuro 1N. You will practice with the nursing process, under the Nurse Leader, and contribute to a Magnet‑designated, patient‑family centered environment.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, an associate degree or higher in nursing, and relevant certifications (ACLS/TNCC/ENPC/PALS). You’ll join an integrated team committed to outcomes and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher, with active RN licensure in Michigan.
• BSN/MSN/DNP- if not BSN prepared, must enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• Must have NCLEX licensure and relevant state nurse license on hire.
• MI State RN licensure required upon hire.
• Certifications in ACLS/TNCC/ENPC/PALS may be required as listed.

Scope of Work

As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top‑notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for using the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, you'll be a vital member of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Required Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
• Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role, such as an LPN or EMT role, etc., and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
