Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking a clinically skilled RN for full-time evening shift in the Staffing Office Float Pool. The role provides professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient-family centered care, under the direction of the Nurse Leader and hospital policies.

Requires MI RN licensure, BSN/MSN/DNP/PhD level education, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, TNCC or equivalents). ICU experience preferred; 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent nursing education completed.
• B.S.N., M.S.N., D.N.P. or Ph.D. required; if not BSN prepared, enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Michigan RN license required at hire.
• ACLS/BLS/TNCC or other required certifications listed for the role.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient-family centered care.
• Deliver care under direction of the Nurse Leader per policies and procedures.
• Join the Staffing Office Float Pool at Trenton Hospital and support unit needs.

About The Hospital

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is a 193-bed, acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. This Magnet®-designated facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients and is one of four recipients of the Truven Health Advantage Award in the category of Health and Clinical Outcomes. Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or equivalent


• Required B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
