Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking an RN Professional Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that enhance nursing staff competencies and professional growth. You will collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and promote evidence-based practice while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required are a BSN, an Ohio RN license, BLS, and a nursing-related master's degree within 4 years of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Nursing master’s degree required within 4 years of hire.
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• Certification in Nursing Professional Development or a related specialty required within 2 years of hire if not held at start.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs to foster clinical competence and professional growth among nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess learning needs and promote evidence-based practice.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the B Safe program.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
