Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Nursing-related Master’s degree required within four years of hire.
• Certification in specialty area required.
• BLS required.
• Minimum of three years clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as educator, career coach, mentor and leader within the organization.
• Assist, facilitate and guide development of nursing employees from initial orientation through ongoing employment.
• Act as a resource to leadership for education programs, evidence-based practice and outcomes evaluation.
• Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing professional development practice.
• Deliver nursing care aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, values and nursing departments.
• Report to a Nurse Manager or Nursing Director.
