Tennessee Quality Care Hospice in Martin, TN is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. We offer flexible hours, weekend coverage, and a supportive environment focused on delivering quality patient and family-centered care.

As a PRN RN you will assess patients and families, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and provide visits to reassess needs, document care, and support families during difficult times.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family caseload across nursing process stages: assessment, eligibility, admission, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Collect data on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors affecting needs; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with attending physician and other agencies to coordinate optimal care.
• Visit patients to reassess needs and update the care plan.
• Perform therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed.
• Perform clinical pronouncement of death and support family.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charts, progress notes, reports, and timely care plans.

What Youll Do

• Assist with the responsibility for patient and family caseload including the assessment determine eligibility admission processing planning implementation and evaluation phases of the nursing process


• Obtain data and assess necessary information from patient physical psychological social and spiritual factors that may impact patient and familys needs and initiate intervention by other members of the interdisciplinary team


• Initiate communication with the attending physician interdisciplinary team and other agencies for the purpose of coordinating optimal care


• Provide visits to re assess the patients needs and update the plan of care


• Perform therapeutic preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed by the attending physician


• Perform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to family


• Maintain accurate patient records charts progress notes reports and prepare care plans timely

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program


• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice


• Maintains a current CPR certification


• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients family members visitors agency personnel and general public


• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required
