Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Requires completion of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Electronic Fetal Monitoring, or equivalent courses.
• Requires up to one year of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Requires a current state license as a Registered Nurse and is listed in good standing.
• Requires a current ACLS certification.
• Requires a current NRP certification.
• Requires a current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment of patient’s condition and documents findings to develop a plan of care.
• Collaborates with the health care team to monitor and adjust the plan of care.
• Performs basic nursing skills and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Uses professional judgment and consults the physician as needed.
• Prepares equipment and assists during examinations and treatments.
• Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning.
