Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications current; if not, obtained within required timeframe.
• Current Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Up to one year of work-related experience or equivalent.
• Orientation period if courses not completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and document findings; develop care plan with medical notes.
• Collaborate with health care team to monitor and adjust care plan as patient condition changes.
• Perform basic nursing skills and treatments as prescribed and exercise professional judgment.
• Directly assist physicians during examinations and treatments and prep necessary equipment.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and nursing care plans to aid recovery.
• Conduct rounds to monitor progress and address issues with the team.
