Job summary

Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the full-time night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while delivering culturally sensitive services.

You will collaborate with the health care team, educate patients and families, and lead clinical activities under the Nursing Director, maintaining professional standards and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Requires up to one year of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Requires a current state license as a Registered Nurse and is listed in good standing with the state’s Department of Professional Credentialing.
• Requires a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within the orientation period.)

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s condition, documents assessment findings, and develops a plan of care.
• Collaborates with the patient care team to discuss and monitor the plan of care.
• Performs basic nursing skills and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Uses professional judgment and communicates with the physician as needed.
• Prepares equipment and assists the physician during examinations and treatments.
• Maintains patient records and participates in discharge planning and family education.
