Job summary

Lawrence County Memorial Hosp is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care including assessment, treatment and education to support recovery.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, interpreting symptoms to physicians, performing routine procedures, administering medications, and maintaining hygiene and safety. Requires AC LS, PALS, BLS and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS and BLS required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Proven RN experience required.

• Pay or shift range: $30 USD to $40 USD

Description

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated professional who provides the highest quality of care to our patients. You will be responsible for patient assessment, treatment and education, ensuring their well-being and facilitating their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physician
• Perform routine procedures such as blood pressure, injections, etc. and fill in patient's chart
• Adjust and administer medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders.
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational opportunities and maintaining required competencies.

Salary & Benefits

• $30.00 - 40.00 per hour plus shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends, where applicable.
