Summary of Job Duties: The Radiology Nurse will provide direct patient care as an RN in Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities include intra-procedure patient care, administering moderate sedation, patient monitoring, coordinating care, triaging, collaborating with providers, facilitating appointments, and patient education on complex conditions. The nurse will develop and implement individual health plans within Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
• Valid Arkansas Nursing License
• Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethics and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have ACLS and BLS before starting
• National Certification
• 1 year of experience in ICU or ED

Additional Information:

Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient data, develop and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and verify care compliance
• Ensure care aligns with patient-centered principles and standards
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
• Collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders
• Document care in the medical record
• Report variances and participate in staff recruitment/retention
• Develop evidence-based nursing practice standards
