Summary of Job Duties: The Radiology Nurse will provide direct patient care as an RN in Interventional Radiology, including intra-procedure care such as administering moderate sedation and patient monitoring. The role requires coordinating care, triaging patients, collaborating with clinic providers, and providing patient education on complex conditions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate's, Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's)
  • Valid Arkansas Nursing License
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethics and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS and BLS certification before starting
  • National Certification
  • 1 year ICU or ED experience

Additional Information:

Employees must be fitted for and capable of donning PPE, including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document patient data; develop and evaluate care plans
  • Administer medications per standards and regulations
  • Ensure care is patient- and family-centered, compliant with standards and regulations
  • Provide patient and family education/discharge planning
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders
  • Document care in the medical record and report variances
  • Participate in recruitment and retention efforts
  • Develop evidence-based nursing standards in line with ANA standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
