Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to support our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. You will work with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and foster resident well-being.

The RN will collaborate with providers, participate in care conferences, document care plans, and maintain infection control; CPR required and Maryland RN license.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and internet.
• CPR certification required.
• State nurse practice act adherence.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by setting care goals and teaching residents/family members.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications, and treatments.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the team.
• Support resident preferences in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences with the Clinical Manager.
