Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Maryland is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will support residents with a resident-first approach, document in the EMR, and coordinate with RNs and providers to ensure quality care.

The position offers shift differentials for Evening and Night shifts, a comprehensive benefits package, on-site medical centers, and opportunities for growth as the community

Qualifications

• Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing residents first.
• Assess and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR, notifying RN/provider as needed.
• Update care plans as residents' needs change.
• Supervise care associates and administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents and families in a timely, professional manner.
• Contribute to clinical reviews (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotics).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RN clinical leader.

Location: Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and provide exceptional care to residents in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and quality of life of our residents. You will provide direct clinical care within the neighborhood, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with established nursing standards of practice, state board of nursing regulations, and Erickson Senior Living policies and procedures.

Compensation: $32.00 per hour alongside additional shift differential earnings (Evening and Night Shift)

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

What you will need:

• Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
