Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for day or evening shifts (Every Other Weekend). Earn $42.50–$52.32/hour plus a $3/hr PRN premium, with potential shift differential.

Candidate must have Maryland RN license and CPR certification and experience in long-term care, medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatric nursing. Daily pay and career advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Maryland RN license and CPR certification.
• Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to lead and support CNAs and LPNs while ensuring policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Obtain and transcribe orders promptly; notify changes in resident status.
• Lead and mentor CNAs and LPNs; ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Complete admissions paperwork and perform medications/treatments as needed.

Job Description

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.


• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.


• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.


• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.


• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.


• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing


• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License


• Current CPR Certification
